FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 7 August 2007-- Press Release 3: Granted IRS 501 (c) (3) Tax Exempt Status 19 June 2007Lint Center receives IRS 501 (c) (3) Status. Lint Center is listed in IRS "Additions to Publication 78"7 August 2007 -- On this day US Internal Revenue Service has approved 501 (c) (3) Tax Exempt Status for the Lint Center for National Security Studies, Inc. This allows all donations or contributions to be deductible under IRS section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. Lint Center is qualified to receive tax deductible bequest, devises, transfers or gifts under sections 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. The Lint Center is now treated as a public charity under the US Tax Code. The effective data was the date of incorporation 19 June 2007 and the Advance Ruling Date ends 31 December 2011. (At which time, further application to IRS must be sent.)
