I was always told that if you did not have 782/TA-50 from the days
of Shield and Sword then you were not old Corps. So I have posted
a scanned copy of the original manual on CI. This is from the time
that CPL P went to school. This is from 1949.
So now you have the three ways to spell CI.
From DOD Dictionary of Military and Associated Terms
Counter-intelligence-(DOD, NATO)
Counterintelligence-(IADB)
DOD and NATO I will not spell out. IADB is Inter-American Defense Board.
Finally, in the original spelling of CI best copy available large picture:
That was:
Counter Intelligence Corps School
Camp Holabird MD
Counter
Intelligence Corps
Investigator
1 JUNE 1940
